If marveling at the beauty of animals in the wild is for you, then you should be at Woodlands World. Our store is decorated with more than 190 mounts, professionally preserved by taxidermist Frank Zitz, of Rhinebeck, New York. These mounts are located throughout the store with the most impressive display being center stage on Bear Mountain.
Stroll into Bear Mountain to view our rattlesnake exhibit, but be warned--they may be enjoying their afternoon snack of live mice! You can observe fish native to our area in various tanks surrounding the mountain, as well as opposite the snakes inside the mountain.
Throughout the store you will be amazed at the lifelike displays, ranging from a cliffhanger soaring above the footwear department, to a Conestoga wagon camp in the foreground of the Fort Necessity Battlefield, to an Indian mounted on his trusty horse, Chico, pursuing an American bison.
So bring the family and see the wonders of our world--and don't forget your camera!
